‘A’ Level
Overall 100% pass rate, 75% at A & B grades
87.5% A - C grades

‘AS’ Level
Overall 97% pass rate
77% being at A - C grades

G.C.S.E.
Overall 100% pass rate with 98% of passes at A* to C grades:- 82% of passes at A*, A and B grades & 56% A* and A grades

100% of pupils gained 5 or more passes at Grades A* - C
IN YEAR 10 , girls gained 100% pass rate in science, 100% A* to C grades and 81% A* to B grades

Pupils at Highclare do not take a GCSE in IT and these results therefore do not include this subject. Pupils take the CLAIT examination in IT, and then follow this by the end of Year 11 with the full 8 modules the business qualification known as ECDL
(European Computer Driving Licence), giving them an excellent background in all aspects of IT. Both these qualifications are well respected by all employers.

  More than 50% of girls moved directly to Highclare Senior School,
  many gaining academic and specialist scholarships

73% of our Yr 6 boys gained places at Grammar Schools

Examination League Tables - February 2009
We were extremely pleased with our placing in the latest League Table results published by many of the national and local newspapers recently. These of course reflect our excellent
performances last year at A Level (overall 98% pass) and GCSE (overall 100% pass with 98%
at grades A* to C).
The Times shows us amongst the top schools in Birmingham, with 100% of our girls gaining A* to C passes in Science, only equalled by King Edwards VI Camp Hill Girls.
