HIGHCLARE GAINS EXCELLENT RESULTS AT GCSE

Following the excellent A level results last Thursday, more pupils at HIGHCLARE SCHOOL in Sutton Road, Erdington are celebrating their success at GCSE this year.

Overall for the 8th year running girls gained a 100% pass rate, 98% of passes at A* to C grades,

82% of passes at A*, A & B grades and 56% at A* and A grades.

100% of pupils gained 5 or more A* - C grades.  

In Year 10, girls gained 100% pass rate in Science , 100% A* - C grades and 81% A* - B grades

“These results are an amazing  achievement” said Mrs Margaret Viles, Headmistress. She further commented   “Our dedicated staff, and work ethos gives every pupil the opportunity to reach their highest potential  and achieve individual excellence.  Staff and pupils, supported by parents must be congratulated”

Many of the girls are going on to study A levels in academic and  Applied subjects at Highclare’s Sixth Form, where pupils last week gained a 100% pass rate.
