Parent - Teacher Association

The main purpose of our Parent / Teacher Association is to promote fundraising and social interaction across the school's three sites. For those parents new to the school, Highclare has an active PTA, which prides itself in the support it gives to the school. We have a committee that meets once a month to organise the various events and a number of parents who offer their help at the functions such as the Christmas Fayre. The PTA is also well supported by members of the staff who help in the running of the regular discos and functions that we hold.

The PTA has aimed to raise money to help with new video equipment and playground resources, for all three Highclare School sites and this has been achieved by holding many varied activities, including children's discos, dinners and dances, a family quiz night, school fayres and a theatre trip.

PTA SECOND HAND UNIFORM

The PTA runs a very successful second hand uniform shop. Lots of items arrive in excellent condition and represent a superb value for money purchase. Sales are generally held once a month at Highclare School, Woodfield, 245 Birmingham Road, Wylde Green. Please ask at the school office for the forthcoming dates.

If you have uniform to donate to the PTA for sale, please bring it into the school office.

The Annual Summer Ball

This year will be held on Saturday 3rd July 2010 to be held at The Ramada Hotel, Sutton Coldfield. It is a 'Masquerade Ball' and is being based upon a 'Venetian Masked Ball' theme. Tickets include a drinks reception, four course dinner, entertainment and dancing and are available in school.
