Posted: 20th January 2017

The children in J5P have been investigating how to separate mixtures as part of their science topic, ‘Material World.’ They had to decide upon the best method to separate water and sand, rice and paperclips, flour and raisins and salt and water. The pupils enjoyed using the equipment to experiment with methods of sieving, evaporation, filtering and magnetic attraction.
